Why choose us for 15-5 PH CNC machining
Difficult-alloy expertise
We specialize in difficult-to-machine alloys and high-value parts where manufacturability and process control matter more than the lowest unit price.
Global engineering support
We support international engineering, procurement and quality teams with dependable communication and export-ready documentation.
Process-driven planning
The machining route is planned around 15-5 PH material condition (Condition A and H900–H1150-M age states), geometry, tolerance stack, surface requirements, inspection strategy and volume.
What we machine in 15-5 PH
- Complex housings, brackets and structural components with thin walls and precision interfaces
- Shafts, bushings, sleeves, pins and threaded fittings
- Valve parts, connectors, manifolds, nozzles and multi-feature rotational components
- Precision inserts, profiles and tight-tolerance features (via EDM and grinding where appropriate)
15-5 PH machining approach
- Material condition (Condition A vs. aged state), geometry, tolerance risk and surface requirements are evaluated before defining the machining process.
- Where needed, parts are roughed in a more machinable state and finished after age hardening, using fixturing and process controls to maintain dimensional stability.
- Burr formation, work hardening and heat input are controlled with appropriate tools, feeds/speeds, coolants and toolpath strategies for precipitation-hardening stainless steels.
- Precision grinding and EDM are used for critical fits and sealing surfaces to meet geometric accuracy and finish targets.
