Difficult-Alloy Precision CNC Machining
Hastelloy B-2 CNC Machining Services
AXALLOY Precision is a Shenzhen-based CNC machining partner specializing in difficult-to-machine alloys and complex, high-value parts. We machine Hastelloy B-2 for international engineering, procurement, and quality teams—supporting prototype development through low-volume and repeat production with controlled processes and export-ready documentation.
If your project requires tight tolerances, demanding surfaces, and reliable communication (not just the lowest unit price), AXALLOY is built for that workflow.
Why Hastelloy B-2 (and why it’s difficult to machine)
Hastelloy B-2 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy commonly selected for highly corrosive chemical environments. From a machining standpoint, it can be challenging due to characteristics typical of nickel alloys—high strength, work hardening tendency, and heat concentration at the cutting zone. That makes process planning, toolpath strategy, and inspection control critical—especially for thin walls, deep cavities, and tight GD&T.
Our approach: before we release machining, we evaluate material behavior, geometry, tolerances, surface requirements, inspection strategy, and production volume to define a stable route.
What we machine in Hastelloy B-2
Best-fit parts and features include:
- Complex milled components with pockets, contours, and precision interfaces
- Valve and fluid-handling components (bodies, seats, nozzles, fittings)
- Thin-wall structures requiring distortion control
- Parts with critical positional tolerances, concentricity, or flatness requirements
- Features requiring EDM for sharp corners, narrow slots, or deep cavities
- Sealing surfaces or bearing fits requiring precision grinding
