The Challenge of Machining Inconel X-750
Inconel X-750 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy renowned for its high strength at temperatures up to 1300°F (704°C) and excellent corrosion resistance. However, these same properties make it notoriously difficult to machine. It work-hardens rapidly during machining, generates extreme heat at the cutting edge, and causes severe tool wear.

1. Multi-Axis CNC Milling
We utilize advanced 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling centers to machine complex geometries, thin walls, and precision interfaces from Inconel X-750 block and plate.

2. CNC Turning & Mill-Turn Machining
Our 9-axis mill-turn centers and Swiss CNC lathes allow us to produce complex rotational Inconel components in fewer setups, maintaining critical concentricity and feature relationships.
- Tolerances:Diameter down to ±0.005 mm, Concentricity down to 0.008 mm
- Capabilities:Main/sub-spindle, C-axis, Y-axis, and live tooling (up to 12,000 rpm).

3. Wire & Sinker EDM
For Inconel X-750 parts with deep cavities, narrow slots, sharp internal corners (down to R0.05 mm), or extremely thin walls that cannot withstand milling forces, our EDM services provide the perfect solution.
