Super Duplex grades (2205, 2507, etc.) require special feed/speed strategies, aggressive yet controlled coolant, and specialized fixturing to avoid work-hardening, distortion and poor surface finish. At AXALLOY we have built the exact capabilities to handle them:
- 5-axis multi-axis milling up to Ø500 mm x 400 mm with positioning accuracy ±0.005 mm
- Precision angular & position tolerance down to ±0.1° / 0.010 mm
- Surface finish Ra 0.8 μm standard, down to Ra 0.2 μm ground
- Minimum wall thickness 0.5 mm and minimum hole diameter Ø0.5 mm
- Full inspection package: CMM (700 × 1,000 × 600 mm), first-article inspection, dimensional reports, material traceability, heat-treatment & coating certificates
